DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing and developing custom business solutions from end-to-end based on requirements and client needs
  • Developing, testing and deploying database-driven applications using a variety of technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, HTML5, Ajax, Java/J2EE, and PL/SQL
  • Interfacing with the internal business team to define requirements; develop code and unit test your solutions.
  • Leading/participating in design and code reviews
  • Each project will require various technical skills and therefore requires a well-rounded, experienced, and adaptable individual.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

Essential:

  • Must have worked in a live project and should be able to answer project design level questions.
  • Should be able to write code. Should be prepared to face problem solving related questions.
  • Need basic understanding of SQL and Database
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Microsoft .NET (4.0 or higher) using ASP.NET and C#
  • Experience with Microsoft MVC
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Web UI design using HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JSON
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Design Patterns
  • 2-3 years’ experience in SQL, PL/SQL
  • 1-3 years’ experience in agile development methodologies
  • Development experience with the production and consumption of RESTful Web Services
  • Strong background in building database-driven Web applications
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a geographically diverse team

Desirable:

  • Experience in Angular (or similar) /HTML 5.0/CSS3/Javascript/JSON
  • Experience in Telerik Kendo UI components.
  • Experience in tools like Git, BitBucket, Jira, Miro, Jenkins.
  • Experience with the production and consumption of RESTful Web Services
  • Experience with Java/J2EE
  • Background in fault tolerant system design
  • Experience with service bus architectures
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Prior work on a Scrum team

Academic Criteria:

  •      BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or a related field, Masters Degree preferred.
